When your child's rights are at stake you need an experienced attorney to fight to protect those rights and an attorney who understands what you are going through. I am devoted to representing clients zealously in Juvenile Court, education, criminal, and Department of Children and Families matters.
Juvenile Court involvement is serious for many reasons, most significantly because your child's liberty may be at stake with the possibility of being locked up at the Department of Youth Services. There are a number of collateral consequences that go along with Juvenile Court matters, too. I also represent young adults and people with disabilities in criminal cases.
Special education services, accommodations, and placements are necessary for students with disabilities. When your school district does not provide what your child deserves under the law then I fight for you from Team meetings to Bureau of Special Education Appeals hearings.
Suspensions and expulsions from school deprive students of the vital, continuing need for education. I do everything possible to get back in the classroom. Juvenile delinquency and criminal involvement often triggers student discipline, compounding these negative effects. This is a very troubling time for families. My specialty is ensuring that your rights are protected in court and in school.
The Department of Children and Families are here to help children and families but they also have the power to take children away from parents. Parents call me when they feel they've been unfairly accused of abuse and neglect. I represent parents in all steps of the DCF process.
Whatever your legal need I am here to help. Call at the phone number above or send me an e-mail.
