Attorney Peter A. Hahn is dedicated to working with families in his own practice in Newton and of counsel to Margolis & Bloom in Boston.  He specializes in representing children and people with disabilities in a range of matters, from special education and student discipline to delinquency and criminal matters to adoption and DCF investigations and appeals.

He is an active member of the Massachusetts Bar Association, including as Chair of the Juvenile and Child Welfare Section Council for the past two years.  He regularly speaks at seminars and conferences on issues related to education and the justice system, including for the Asperger’s Association of New England, the Mental Health Legal Advisors' Committee, the Federation for Children with Special Needs, Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education, the Massachusetts Bar Association, and Lorman Education.

In the past Attorney Hahn served as a judicial law clerk in the Massachusetts Juvenile Court and as a science teacher before becoming a lawyer.

He received his law degree cum laude from Boston University School of Law and his B.A. cum laude from Harvard College.
